HW Racing Services

We have over 14 years of racing administration experience including registrations, VAT, liaising with the BHA and Weatherbys, trainers and racing yards, setting up and running of partnerships and syndicates. We also offer a Racing Manager role as part of HW Racing Services and have a proven track record with a number of owners including high profile sports stars.

Benefits for Owners

HW Racing Services work with established owners and those owners who are new to racing. We take the sometimes time consuming and for those new to racehorse ownership, daunting admin out of the ownership experience leaving owners to purely enjoy owning and racing their horses.

For a flat monthly fee of:

£175 plus VAT (single horse)

£125 plus VAT per horse (2 or more horses)

£100 plus VAT per horse (3 or more horses)

Benefits of using HW Racing Services

Set up ownership with the BHA and a racing account with Weatherbys. All correspondence taken care of ongoing.
Registering and management of VAT reclaims and payments where necessary. * According to the Racehorse Owners Association the average reclaimed VAT per horse is £4,000.
All mail regarding VAT, BHA registrations, training invoices, vet invoices etc sent to HW Racing Services and dealt with.
Payment of all training fees and veterinary invoices managed.
Regular summary update of costs so owners know exactly what the cost implications are.
Arrange owners badges, hospitality, boxes, tables in restaurants.
Liaise with Trainers/yard and feedback to owner (personal preference).
Broker flexible training packages including all inclusives.
First port of call for all your racing queries via phone, text, email and WhatsApp.
If the time comes for your racehorse to retire we have years of experience rehoming, rehabilitating and retraining them.
Optional extra service of accompanying owners when racing.

All the elements can be tailored to individual needs as required.

Benefits for Trainers

HW Racing Services work with Trainers to take some of the racing admin workload off their hands to allow them to concentrate on their important "day" job. It’s a bonus knowing that these elements are being dealt with in a professional, timely manner by experienced racing specialists, freeing up precious time for other important matters.

Your owners have professional admin support.
When a new owner joins you we can set up ownership with the BHA and a racing account with Weatherbys. We will manage renewals and ongoing maintenance.
Registering and managing of reclaiming/payment of VAT. * According to the Racehorse Owners Association the average reclaimed per horse is £4,000 . A significant saving for your owners so our admin service will pay for itself.
You and your team don't have to worry about organising race day badges and hospitality.
Less post to deal with. Mail is sent direct to us to be checked and prompt payment of your invoices, vets fees etc arranged. If monies are outstanding we will handle the follow ups.
Some owners prefer to have their update through us instead of worrying that they are bothering a busy trainer at an inopportune time. We are happy to liaise with you on their behalf.
Another knowledgeable pair of hands who is totally focussed on your owners and is at the end of a phone or email to help you.
As an optional extra, if you've got runners at more than one course, we can go racing with your owners to make sure that everything runs smoothly for them.
Importantly this comes at no cost to your business.
